Ahoj Thorsten, ako prebieha práve aktuálne turné? A mimochodom, gratulujem Vám k novému tourbusu, myslíte si, že ho budete môcť využívať po celý rok?

Ahoj Zdeno, mám sa fajn. A ty? Tourbusy sa vždy prenajímajú na každé turné zvlášť, takže na tom ďalšom sa objavíme opäť s iným, bohužiaľ.. :)

Blahoželám taktiež k novému albumu. Kto stojí za jeho názvom? Bol by si ochotný vymenovať tvoje obľúbené skladby, prezradiť nejaké zákulisné tajomstvá alebo napríklad, koľko skladieb sa na album nevošlo?

Názov bol proste ten pravý, pretože album je v jadre tak rôznorodý, že sme nevedeli nájsť správne pomenovanie, ktoré by ho opísalo v tom správnom zmysle. Moja obľúbená skladba je „Still Love You“ a dúfam, že to bude miliónový singel :)

Plánujete vydanie nového singla pre tento album? Ktorá skladba by to mala byť?

Práve pracujeme na singly ku skladbe „Still Love You“ a podľa môjho názoru by sme mali neskôr vydať „Dont You“ ako druhý kus.

Pripadá mi, že počet vašich koncertov za rok sa pravidelne zmenšuje, je to bežný proces pre tak dlho a ťažko vystupujúcu kapelu, alebo je to tým, že v dnešnej dobe sa ťažšie zháňajú koncerty než tomu bolo v minulosti?

Tento rok odohráme cez 60 vystúpení, čiže si nemyslím, že by sa ten počet zmenšoval!!! Milujeme byť na pódiu a hrať rock národom!

Kde skončili vaše pódiové plachty, ktoré ste používali na turné k albumom ako „Weight Of The Circumstances“ alebo „Bitter To Better“?

Máme ich odložené v našej skúšobni a je to „zberateľský prach“.

Unplugged vystúpenie, ktoré sa nachádza na limitovanej edícia vášho posledného albumu, je jedno z najlepších ktoré som od vás počul, a hlavne sa pýši fantastickým zvukom. Zvuk akustických nástrojov jednoducho nikdy nenahradia tie elektrické! Záznam o ktorom sa bavíme je kompletný, alebo ste niektoré skladby vystrihli?

Nie je to samozrejme celé vystúpenie. Odohrali sme celkovo približne dve hodiny. Ale nasledujúcu jeseň budeme na uplugged turné približne 2 alebo 3 týždne!

Nevyznám sa moc vo fúkacích harmonikách, ale pripadalo mi, že mal Sasha s tou svojou na tomto vystúpení problémy. Našťastie mal so sebou ešte náhradnú. Čo by sa stalo keby nemal, resp. bola tá prvá nefunkčná?

Jediný problém bol v tom, že táto mala inú melódiu a tak musel nájsť tú so správnou v zákulisí.

Koľko vlastných značkových trsátok si so sebou brávaš na turné?

Približne 300 a vydržia mi jeden rok, pretože moji spoluhráči z kapely mi ich kradnú. Zlodeji!

Kto bol ten chlapík, ktorý Ťa strčil dolu zo schodov počas natáčania rozhovoru pre posledné DVD k albumu? Vidím, že ste to okamžite strihli aby sme nevideli čo nasledovalo he he

Nič viac nenasledovalo, tiež si vôbec nespomínam kto to bol.

Pamätáš si ešte na svoje vôbec prvé vystúpenie s Die Happy?

Samozrejme. Bolo to vo Wippingene a hrali sme pred 400 divákmi. Naše vystúpenie zvyklo trvať 40 minút, ale skončili sme už po 20 minútach, nakoľko náš bubeník bol tak nervózny, že hral všetko strašne rýchlo! Takže, po tom ako sme skončili sme to všetko zahrali ešte raz.

Mali ste niekedy vystúpenie, ktoré ste museli zrušiť, napr. kvôli technickým problémom?

Nie, ale raz sme museli prestať hrať, pretože publikum bolo hrozne agresívne. Narážali sa ešte aj pri pomalých skladbách… Nebola to žiadna zábava.

Môžeš mi prezradiť význam limitovanej edície vášho posledného albumu, ktorá nesie pomenovanie „Muller Edition“? U nás tento názov alebo meno vôbec nepoznáme.

Ide o veľkú spoločnosť zaoberajúcu sa predajom a majú svoju edíciu s jednou bonusovou skladbou limitovanú na 3000 kópií.

Posledná skladba na albume „VI“ má dosť špecifický názov. Môžeme ešte stále očakávať ďalší album Die Happy v budúcnosti? :) :) Skladba The End je venovaná dvom špecifickým osobám, ktoré si to pokazili u Marty. S našou kapelou to nemá nič spoločné!
